Girringun TUMRA 20 Year Celebration!

Join us in celebrating 20 years of the Girringun TUMRA on Tuesday 15 April 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Tully Heads Foreshore (Gulngay Country).
This Open Day marks two decades since Girringun became the first Traditional Owner group on the Great Barrier Reef to sign a state and federal agreement recognising sea country management. The celebration honours the leadership and legacy of elders from six saltwater groups who worked to protect cultural values and practices.
