The Community for Coastal and Cassowary Conservation (C4) acknowledges the Djiru people as the Traditional Owners of the land in which we live and work. We recognise their enduring connection to the lands, waters, and ecosystems that sustain us all, including the cassowary. We pay our respects to Djiru Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
