We work with a wide range of partners and businesses to deliver our conservation work. Whether you offer hands-on land management services, have specialist technical skills to contribute to specific projects, or run a local business that could support our operations and events, you can register your interest below.

Conservation & land management
We deliver on-ground conservation and land management projects across the Cassowary Coast in partnership with government, regional and community organisations. This work involves practical, physical activities such as site preparation, planting, weed control, transport, surveying, maintenance and environmental monitoring.
We are building a network of contractors to support this work as projects arise. It involves physical outdoor activity in tropical conditions. The work is physically demanding – expect long days, uneven terrain, and exposure to sun, rain and heat. Contractors scope timing and duration with us on a per-project basis.

If you’d prefer to contribute without taking on paid contract work, you can sign up as a volunteer instead, We will keep you informed about upcoming community planting days and other hands-on activities.

Technology, mapping and monitoring
We are increasingly delivering projects that rely on technical expertise, data and innovative tools to support conservation outcomes. This includes mapping, spatial analysis, monitoring, data collection, reporting and the use of emerging technologies.
We welcome expressions of interest from people with specialist skills who would like to work with us on specific projects. This may include experience in areas such as GIS, drones, data analysis, environmental monitoring, software, communications or other relevant technical disciplines.

Supporting our operations and events
We are committed to supporting the local Mission Beach economy wherever possible. We regularly engage local businesses to help deliver our operations, events, workshops and excursions.
This can include services such as catering, transport, signage, printing, marketing support, equipment hire, event logistics and personal protective equipment. We value working with businesses in our community and building strong local partnerships.
