C4 is seeking community support to assist with two important requests:
1. Donations of native cassowary fruits
Our cassowaries in care rely heavily on native fruits as part of their essential diet. If you have excess native fruits in your backyard, we kindly ask you to consider donating them to C4. However, please ensure you leave sufficient fruits for your local resident cassowaries.
Important Reminder: Collecting fruits from National Parks is strictly prohibited. Please only donate fruits gathered responsibly and legally.
2. Donation of a working fridge
We are also in need of a working, second-hand fridge. Our aim is to set up this fridge at the C4 Environment Centre, providing an accessible drop-off point for community members to donate surplus native fruits.
